Experience the versatility of dry-erase boards, providing a sleek canvas for brainstorming, planning, and self-expression. Meanwhile, corkboards offer a practical platform to secure your ideas, find inspiration, and keep essential documents within reach. So to give wings to your imagination, POS Paper has come up with:
Dry-erase board
Oftenly known as “a whiteboard or marker board," it has a smooth and flat surface typically made of melamine, porcelain, or glass that allows users to write and erase information using dry-erase markers. It is commonly used in offices, classrooms, and meeting rooms to jot down ideas, create visual presentations, or convey messages in various settings where visual communication and collaboration are essential.
Corkboard
A board used to pin or tack notes, memos, photos, and other paper-based items to the surface. Cork boards are often used in offices and homes to keep track of important information and display photos and artwork.
How do I effectively clean and maintain a dry-erase board corkboard?
Here are some tips we have crafted to effectively clean and maintain your dry-erase board or corkboard:
Dry-erase board
- After each use, erase the markings on the board using a dry eraser or a soft cloth. Wipe the surface gently to avoid scratching.
- For stubborn stains or ghosting (residual markings), dampen a clean cloth with a mild whiteboard cleaner or a solution of water and vinegar. Wipe the board in a circular motion, then rinse with water and dry thoroughly.
- Refrain from using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals as they can damage the surface of the board. Stick to mild cleaning solutions specifically designed for whiteboards.
Corkboard
- Regularly dust the cork surface using a soft brush or a lint-free cloth to remove any accumulated dirt or debris. This prevents dirt from embedding into the cork and keeps the board looking clean.
- For stains or marks on the cork surface, use a mild soap solution or a gentle fabric cleaner applied to a clean cloth. Gently rub the stained area and then wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Avoid excessive moisture to prevent damage to the cork.
- When pinning items to the cork board, use gentle pressure and avoid using oversized or heavy pins that can cause damage to the cork. Insert the pins straight into the board to minimize visible holes and maintain the board's integrity.
